In Urban Spatial Science Research Laboratory, we begin with analyzing spatial property, developing the location theory and optimal configuration theory, researching optimal city form, transport flow and network configuration, and recently work on development of the planning theory considering risk evaluation. We investigate and analyze the actual cities in detail to ensure whether those theoretical researches are representing the essence of cities.
Our laboratory welcome a person who somewhat sympathized with and is interested in constructing the fundamental theory of Urban Engineering and pursuing the theory of spatial decision making. Please visit our laboratory frankly ( e-mail is here )

The members of Urban Spatial Science Research Laboratory belong to Urban Regional Planning Major in the college of Policy and Planning Science in undergraduate course, Risk Engineering Majorin the doctoral program of System and Information Engineering

Entrance exam of Graduated school is held in August as the first term admission and in February as the recommended entrance (that of System and Information Engineering is in July). Please refer to the web site of each department or institute for more detail.
